SL Under the Radar 25 - The New Show

SL Under the Radar 25 - The New Show

Hey, look! Noobs! Ok, well... not THAT new. Arri and Nika stop by to talk about being new in a weird, unweildy world like Second Life.  I think I did some feedback, and ranted against people who think others should own them. And Chug does an exploration that'll frighten and aMAZE you.

Intro music is "Under the Radar" by the band What The...? (http://www.what-the.com/)  Outro Music is "44 Lines for 22 Lindens" by Niko Donburi (http://www.nikodonburi.com).

I think you mention the E-word too much. Makes the folks there seem like the center of the frickin grid, eh.

Actually, my suggestion about a Pervert Show was just so that instead of ranting and raving about the people, you'd just talk to them. Maybe you'll learn something about why they do what they do or maybe you won't. Maybe they'll learn something about why you do what you do or maybe they won't.

I know I don't understand much of it, and to some extent it horrifies me as reminiscent of the disgusting subhuman treatment of women as property that some of our so-called allies in this war on terror do.

But then I'm an innocent "destroy all humans" robot run by an archconservative and not a "oh let me be your slave, master" robot. Which has led to some amusing situations when people assume the key means they can make me do what they want or want to ride the avatar and hang it up rusty.

Blech. Pass the Armor-All and begone, freako!

Still... the slave-master folks... it might be an interesting conversation. Let's see... Pizzababe perhaps? (Who knows? Might lead to an amusing coversation between Robot and Chipmunk.)

As for the SLURL to your underwear drawer...

This was a very good show, I think. One of the kind that makes you wish it was a live show and you could talk back. Half tempted to listen again and type out a blog post of responses. One thing I did want to point out in reference to your comment about finding specific items in search, when you use the new search and it gives the list of things at the location, you can bring it up on the map and type in the items coordinates which will give you a beacon to where it's at, I've used this several times to find an items I was looking for. Would be nice if it were clickable in search to bring up the beacon, should do a Jira entry on it.

Anyhow, was a super fantastic show.

Oh, I did mean to comment on the rant at the end. It was a bit of a.......distraction to what was an excellent show.

The subject itself, could be an interesting if controversial one for you to do a show on, if it can be done without folks getting carried away.

Personally, I think you can find better things to worry about.
